Indian Wells, USA
It is Fedal-fever again in the tennis world and this is a repeat of the final at Australian Open a few weeks ago, were Rafa (6) really should have won. He was a break up in the deciding set, before Federer (10) went into god-mode and played preposterous tennis. I don’t see him doing that again tonight, and I believe Nadal will get his revenge.
Nadal has won 8 of their 11 matches on hard court and the surface at Indian Wells suits the Spaniard well, where his top-spin will make it difficult for Federers backhand, as we have seen so many times before.
Nadal played a good match yesterday against Verdasco where he was very aggressive and his forehand was on point, as it has been for last couple of weeks. He is really starting to look sharp again and it is great to see that his confidence is growing back. Federer on the other hand had to get through two tie break against Steve Johnson, and looked pretty tired at times. Pinnacle has the highest odds on Nadal at the moment with 1.68, but the odds may actually increase closer to the match, so it may be worth waiting to place the bet.
Rafael Nadal at 1.68 for 4 units.
